Ikusasalethu Youth Development Project also known as IYDP is a registered Non Profit Organisation with the
NPO No: 190-306, provides you access to its website www.ikusasalethu.org.za and its online search service subject to the following conditions. This policy applies to all users of IYDP website from students applying for Scholarships/Bursaries, Partners, Donors, Organisations etc. Usage of the website constitutes full and irrevocable acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Use of the website.

This website and all its custom materials are the sole property of IYDP. The site and its content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. This website or any portion of this website may not be reproduced, modified, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, uploaded, republished, posted, transmitted, translated, create derivative works, or distributed in any manner or medium or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without IYDP express written consent. You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information, any derivative use of this website or its contents; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.(including emails, other electronic means, images, videos, text, and page layout of any form) without IYDP express written consent. Any unauthorised use terminates the permission or license granted by IYDP. You may, however download Scholarship/Bursary application forms and/or print one copy of individual pages of the site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Copyright, authors' rights and database rights

All content included on the website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of IYDP, and is protected by South African and international copyright, authors' rights and database right laws.

In particular, you may not utilise any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (whether once or many times) for re-utilisation of any parts of this website, without IYDP' express written consent.

Payment options accepted

Donations can be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards, Bank transfer or by PayPal into IYDP bank account, the details which will be provided on request.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for IYDP via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring banks. Paygate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by IYDP separately from card details which are entered by IYDP on PayGate’s secure site. For more information on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za

Your password and account security

You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access IYDP' services.
If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify IYDP immediately by emailing info@ikusasalethu.org.za

Card acquiring and security

IYDP shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users for the purpose of this clause ,’’personal information’’ shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from HERE.
IYDP data protection practices are stated in our privacy policy. This policy explains how IYDP treats your personal information, and protects your privacy, when you use this website. You agree to the use of your data in accordance with IYDP' privacy policies.

Availability of the IYDP website

We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting options to the card holder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand to users of Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards and for PayPal users its different countries with different currencies.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and IYDP chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.


IYDP may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.


We may cancel or terminate your account with this website at any time. In the event of cancellation or termination, you are no longer authorized to access the website’s membership area.
